Sitting in the stands, watching your child struggle in the game is one of the hardest things you will have to do as a sports parent. Here’s a lesson my son learned when he was 9, while I helplessly watched.
Will you help bring a smile to the face of a child who is battling cancer? I’m raising money for Caps For Kids to give precious kids a baseball hat autographed by their hero. Will you give? Take a minute to give to a child!

Great story with a great message for all of us, Janis. Really struck a chord with me and how I am when my son plays. I’m sure you struck a chord with many other people, too.
Thanks, Scott. Sitting in the stands is so hard sometimes!

Hey Jannis, it’s nice to see other people who share the same sentiments. I too have always experienced difficulty in watching my kid struggle on the court (we both love basketball). I always teach my kid to take good care of the ball and don’t waste any possessions but mistakes can happen sometimes and it always hurt to see it happen.
Thanks for sharing your incredible adventure
