Youth sports will never be healthy, unless parents, coaches and players are all adequately communicating.

In this podcast episode I talk with Coach Reed Maltbie of CoachReed.com about communication. He gives very practical tips for coaches, parents and players on how to improve relationships, performance, and teamsmanship through the power of communication.

Head ShotCoach Reed is a coach, author, speaker, and the Executive Director of STAR Soccer Club in Cincinnati, Ohio where he continues coaching athletes ages 5-19. He is a speaker for Changing The Game Project and delivers his own training on Unrivaled Sports Communication, Culture, and Competitive Environments. When he is not coaching and speaking he is working on his upcoming book, launching in May 2016: Echo. Coach Reed also recently founded reBoot, a digital consignment shop for soccer gear.
